So, here I am, sitting in my hotel room having just arrived in Vancouver for a workshop tomorrow.  Well, it begins tonight with a meet and greet in a little while so I won’t be sitting here ALL night.  But I sit here now, relaxing on the bed, as I really don’t feel much like wandering around the city before heading outta the pub.  Yes, the meet and greet is a pub night gathering.  We are not heathens!

Anyway, aside from feeling generally lazy and relaxed, I am realizing that I have not yet provided you with a kitten Thursday post.  It feels a bit surreal posting kitten Thursday from afar, given that there are no kittens here to keep me company, but I can’t let you down…so here, without further ado, Kitten Thursday!  Oh, and by the way, I am editing this post in the WP app on my iPad.  Not fun!  But anything for you, my fine followers!

That’s a big word, you know.  Cacophony.  Four syllables.  I bet certain orange-coloured world leaders couldn’t pronounce it.  Anyway, it means a lot of noise, or a lot going on at once.  So much that you can’t really make anything out.  A discordance, if you will.

So here, for your viewing pleasure, is a cacophony of herbs and spices in a lovely spice blend, the name of which I cannot remember for the life of me…

I won’t say much. My head still hurts, but it’s better than it was.  And kittens kept me company all day…

I thought it would be risky taking pictures at the museum, but it turns out they are ok with it.  As long as you don’t use flash.  Since I don’t know how to use flash, that worked out fine for me!

At least first thing in the morning.  Notice the emptiness of this first cup.

And now, happiness is starting to peek through the Monday morning.  Mind you, it is still Monday…sigh…

And yes, those photos were taking this morning, and with a flash.  It’s dark out there these days in the morning, which may eventually require more of those cups of happiness to get me out that door.

Here I am, succumbing in Caturday, as the subjects of said Caturday succumb to restful sleep.  Really makes you want to succumb yourself, doesn’t it?
