A patina of Christmas landed on my car this morning.  Unlike others here in Victoria, I have an actual scraper – straight from Saskatchewan.  For the rest of you out there who think you can drive with frozen windshields, DON’T!!!  Get a friggen scraper, man.  You CAN find them here – it’s still Canada.

Well, I knew the meaning, but for some reason I thought it was “on tenderhooks”.  Just goes to show that sometimes what we believe to be true is not.  Now if only certain people who are creating a state of permanent Tenterhooks would stop with the “belief = truth” crap.

Who is not on tenterhooks?  Jasper.  I think I want to be a kitten.

I put a little sparkle into my evening yesterday by watching a Charlie Brown Christmas.  What better way to move me into December.  It’s time for all my favourite Christmas shows…whoo hoo!!

Trying to keep from coughing as I post Kitten Thursday.  Right now, it’s calm, so I will be gingerly watching for signs of the Cough and slugging back cough syrup to get through my work day.

So, Kevin took me out for dinner last night for my birthday (it’s on Tuesday).  Not only that, but he made reservations!!  And, it was one yummy dinner 🙂

Then duck breast for Kevin, and ling cod for me!  And, I have to say, that was one of the most delicious meals I’ve had!  It was so good, I had trouble taking clear pictures!!

And, empty plates all around to end the meal.
