It’s the final day of NaNoPoblano and 30 Days of Thanksgiving. Thanks for the challenges!! I always enjoy challenges that give me the excuse to blog more, and there were great ones. Don’t know what’s coming in December – there was one last year
So, to end my NaNoPoblano and Thanksgiving posts, I am thankful for new windows for our basement that were installed today. I showed some inside views earlier today, now here are the outside views, before and after, of those same windows:

But, it’s Christmas movie season, and so far it’s been It’s a Wonderful Life, and George C. Scott’s A Christmas Carol. Tonight, it’s Elf. What’s next? I’ll let you know! Thanks for November 🙂

Ok, I know it’s not technically (or literally) Monday today, but today we had new windows installed in the basement today. Replacing crappy broken aluminum (and completely non-original) windows with classy, vintage-looking vinyl.
Here’s a sampling from the inside (outside pictures will be posted later…)! Note that they aren’t completely finished yet (they still need framing trim), but those pictures will also come later!

“This all about capturing the roads, walks, trails, rails, steps, etc. we move from one place to another on. You can walk on them, climb them, drive them, ride on them, as long as the specific way is visible. Any angle of a bridge is acceptable as are any signs.”
“Which way” is something I am thinking metaphorically about today, wondering which way to go now under continued stressful circumstances. So, I am going to stick with the metaphorical today, but perhaps not at the whole life-changing level.
While I at least still feel it’s too early in the day to wonder which way to go with regards to choice of drink (the choice now is clear):

Sorry for the implied expletive, but I’m afraid I don’t feel very thankful today. I mean, I’m always thankful for Kevin, the kitties, mom and dad, family and friends, an of course my amazing work colleagues. But today sucked. And I don’t know how much more I can take.
Whatever happens though, I am throwing 2016 into the garbage and taking 2017 – it’s mine and no one is going to ruin it for me.
2017, you are mine.

None. I don’t like board games. I have 2 good friends with whom I play board games when we get together (which is very rare nowadays as we live in different cities), but I will only play with them. I am most definitely a sore loser…which is easy ’cause I never win…just saying…
