Colour Your World: Denim
Today’s Colour Your World is Denim (http://jennifernicholewells.com/2016/01/31/color-your-world-denim/)
Here yah go. It’s NOT that colour now (as you know if you saw my post from yesterday…), but for a brief moment in time, it was 🙂
Sunday and Spring is Springing

Clematis starting to pop, roses growing new leaves. And some general view of the garden from the deck. Now it’s really time to start planning the front yard (and get a couple more raised beds for the side!!) It may only be February (tomorrow), but here, it’s Spring!!
Colour Your World: Dandelion

They aren’t actually dandelions, but they are bright and cheery!
S…S…S…Saturday!

The living is easy…
And the hair is new!!
Weekly Photo Challenge: Vibrant
“This week, share a photo of something vibrant. Vivid colors, a lively portrait, or perhaps a delightfully colorful landscape, if you’re in a warmer climate. Let’s wash the web with a rainbow of colors to keep the winter gloom at bay.” (https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/vibrant/)
New colours and a vibrant lift for the end of January!
Colour Your World: Cotton Candy
Today’s Colour Your World is Cotton Candy (http://jennifernicholewells.com/2016/01/29/color-your-world-cotton-candy/)
Funny how I always went for the baby blue cotton candy, not the pink. Oh well. Here is my contribution to Cotton Candy!
TGIF – yes indeed!

Yesterday was a weird one. Stormy in the morning, then unexpectedly light going to work (on Wednesday at work we all remarked on how it suddenly seemed light in the morning – happens every year, when one morning it feels like the light it at the end of the tunnel. It just happens a lot earlier here than it did in Saskatchewan…), then sunny at work for awhile, then (after I turned my light off and opened my window, it was so nice) dark and cloudy and dashing rain, then suddenly sunny again. I think it’s quiet out there right now, although there are predictions of rain for the day.
Doesn’t matter though. The hair changes today and we’re happy happy happy! (Strange fact: every time I make a hair appointment, about 2-3 days before the appointment, people start complimenting me on my hair. People – it’s 3 months old! Can’t you see how it needs a cut and colour?? But, sigh, thanks for the compliment…)
Here are some of my random photos of times from the psycho-weather day.
Crocus time!
Snack time!
Elliot time!
Colour Your World: Cornflower

Or, as I call it, Powder Blue 🙂 A little harder than I thought to find good examples in my archives – hope these work for you!
It’s cold outside (well, no it’s not – but it is rainy and windy…)
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/just-another-day/
It sounds like a blustery, rainy morning out there. Hopefully it won’t last. On mornings like this, it’s very tempting to spend the day sleeping in and puttering around the house. But, alas, I must trek to work, so I will suck it up!
Before I head off, however, I have a few random photos from yesterday for you today. First, Jasper and Elliot: two other reasons it is tempting to stretch out and go back to sleep…
And some artful pictures of some of some of the ingredients in last night’s incredible chili!
That’s all I got. Happy Thursday everyone!
Colour Your World: Copper
Today’s Colour Your World is Copper (http://jennifernicholewells.com/2016/01/27/color-your-world-copper/)
I only have one picture to offer you today. It’s been a long day… Maybe I’ll go back to these colours this Friday – what do you think??
