Don’t let the door hit your butt on the way out!
Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge 2016 Week 52
For this week’s Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge, 2016 Week 52 (https://ceenphotography.com/2016/12/30/cees-odd-ball-photo-challenge-2016-week-52/)
“Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge (COB) is all about those great photos that you take which really don’t seem to fit into a common category. We’ve all taken them and like them, because we just can’t hit delete and get rid of them.”
I thought this was a pretty odd sight today in the water as I walked along the breakwater…and yes, that is a toilet seat…
Weekly Photo Challenge: Resilient
“This week, share a photo of something that says “resilient” to you. It could be a local landmark that has survived through the decades (or centuries), or a portrait of a person you know who never gives up. You could snap an image of a bed of perennials that never fail to bloom in season, or of a ritual or tradition that you (or people in your community) have successfully preserved. Show us something that has endured. ” (https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/resilient/)
While waves are ethereal, I think they are also pretty resilient…
Nothing like a few sprouts (and bacon)
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/mope/
Last night we had leftovers, but to supplement those leftovers (and since there were no leftover veggies…) I made brussel sprouts.
And is there another way to make them than with bacon??
Yummy!!
Three Line Tales – Week 48:
This challenge comes from Sonya at Only100Words (https://only100words.xyz/2016/12/29/three-line-tales-week-forty-eight/) , and here are the rules:
“Write three lines to go with the weekly photo prompt (the photos I use are either royalty-free or I’ve been given permission by the photographer to use them; please credit where appropriate) – sideways interpretation is encouraged. The photo is the launch point – take us wherever you fancy.”
Don’t look behind you.
Don’t look behind you…
Don’t look behind you!!!

I knew there was a reason I took these pictures!!
The last Kitten Thursday of 2016
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/renewal/
2016 can go to hell. But at least Kitten Thursday has helped me get through it…
Cee’s Which Way Challenge: December 28, 2016
And heeeeere’s… Cee’s Which Way Challenge! https://ceenphotography.com/2016/12/28/cees-which-way-photo-challenge-december-21-2016-2/
“This challenge is all about capturing the roads, walks, trails, rails, steps, etc. we move from one place to another on. You can walk on them, climb them, drive them, ride on them, as long as the specific way is visible. Any angle of a bridge is acceptable as are any signs.”
This picture was taken a year ago – the path to 2016. Thought it looked good, but there were (and continue to be) a lot of ruts in the path around the corner. Wonder if the path to 2017 will be smoother??
