Share Your World – July 31, 2017

And now for this week’s Share Your World (https://ceenphotography.com/2017/07/31/share-your-world-july-31-2017/).

Here are my answers to this week’s Share Your World!

If you had to have your vision corrected would you rather: glasses or contacts? Or what do you use if you need to have your vision corrected?

Well, I started wearing glasses when I was around 10?  I can’t really remember… But I had Lasik surgery in 1999 and, aside from now having to wear reading glasses, have not looked back.  Guess I would say neither!

Are you more of a dog person or a cat person?

Not sure…

If you were to buy a new house/apartment what is the top three items on your wish list?

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!  Not moving again….

What inspired you this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

Oh, just ordinary things…

What I’ve done on 2017 Summer Holidays Part II, Day 6

A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/substandard/

NOTHING!  Well, not nothing-nothing, but no real work on the soon-to-be-painted rooms.  Nope – I had lunch with mom and dad, and moved some junk out of their storage room for them.  And I spent some time on my online course site, as it was day one of the class!

So, now I am going to make myself another cup of coffee and open my textbook, and do a little reading.  In the meantime, enjoy some pictures from lunch 🙂

Oil and balsamic for the bread (I would have enjoyed this, but can’t eat the bread – mom and dad enjoyed the bread…

Dad’s seafood chowder

Mom’s Cioppino

My pork (it was yummy!)

We say on couches…

Next to the window…

The restaurant was quiet inside today, but it gave me a chance to take a picture of the main room!

Flower of the Day: July 31, 2017

Cee’s Flower of the Day (https://ceenphotography.com/2017/07/30/flower-of-the-day-july-31-2017-clematis/)

What was yesterday???  Red and white (see below)!!  Purple and white was a pretty good guess though…not sure what I would have guessed.

And, for today – what do you think?

And here is yesterday’s in amazing technicolour!  Now, some of you guessed petunias, and I mistakenly replied that these weren’t as I remember them being tiny.  But now, I am not so sure…I’ll have to go back and have a second look…

Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge, July 30 2017

And now, for this week’s Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge (https://ceenphotography.com/2017/07/30/cees-odd-ball-photo-challenge-july-30-2017/)

“Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge (COB) is all about those great photos that you take which really don’t seem to fit into a common category.  We’ve all taken them and like them, because we just can’t hit delete and get rid of them.”

I thought these were pretty odd things to see on my walk Friday:

Who loses a shoe and keeps walking?

Only had blue paint?  And why only one??

Ok, come one.  There are no moose in Victoria…

Flower of the Day: July 30, 2017

For all of you who guessed “yellow” for yesterday’s “challenge” – you are correct (see below)!!  Ok, this is getting too easy.  How about this one?

And here is yesterday’s little beauty!

Caturday!!

That is all…

Cee’s Flower of the Day (https://ceenphotography.com/2017/07/28/flower-of-the-day-july-29-2017-bearded-iris/)

Well, I guess yesterday’s was an easy one (see below).  I think everyone got it!

And now, for today…

Here was yesterday’s lovely orange bloom!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Satisfaction

“This week, share a photo of something that brings you satisfaction. It can be monumental, minor, or something in between. We can’t wait to see your contributions.”  (https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/satisfaction/)

Nothing says “satisfaction” like a peacock in a tree 🙂

Cee’s Which Way Challenge: July 28, 2017

And heeeeere’s… Cee’s Which Way Challenge!   https://ceenphotography.com/2017/07/28/cees-which-way-photochallenge-july-28-2017/

“This challenge is all about capturing the roads, walks, trails, rails, steps, etc. we move from one place to another on.  You can walk on them, climb them, drive them, ride on them, as long as the specific way is visible.  Any angle of a bridge is acceptable as are any signs.”

Which way are they going?
