Caturday in mid-June

I can’t believe it’s the middle of June.  Tomorrow is Father’s Day, and Kevin’s birthday is next week.  And very soon…holidays!!

What do you say, boys?  Happy Saturday!!  Yeah whatever…

I think this is the last Caturday in May

WTF happened to May?  Or April…or March, for that matter.  Guess I should be happy cause that means it’s almost time for summer vacation!!  I know these guys are thrilled…

Caturday of Sleepiness

It’s the first day of a long weekend (you have no idea how happy that makes me).  Not that these guys really see a difference…

Caturday is back again!

Here we are, another Caturday at the end of a long week I thought would never end.

Jasper helping me with lunges.

And Elliot helping in the kitchen!

A Caturday for Kevin

Kevin always makes note of when I miss Caturday.  And even thought yesterday was all about Elliot, I don’t want him to miss his special day (meaning Kevin…ah, English third person confusion…)

So, just for you Kev:

Oh, it’s Caturday!!

Yes indeed it is.  Although some would argue that every day is Caturday.  I know these guys would…

A Caturday for Dad’s Birthday

The boys say Happy Birthday dad!!  My (Emily’s) dad, that is…

And it’s the last Caturday of July!

Can you believe it?  July 28th – the last Caturday of July.  And only one more week off before I’m back to work.  Well, it was nice while it lasted!

I think Elliot and Jasper will miss me when I go back, don’t you?

Just a Caturday to bring me back

Yes, yes, I know.  I’ve been remiss in posting.  It seems I’ve been struggling with motivation for many things lately, and all I have time for is going to work.  We were reflecting at work yesterday how burnt out and tired of being there we all are right now.  Don’t get me wrong – I love the work I do (mostly), but I’m tired and ready for a break. And that break starts next Friday.  So, I am trying to kick-start my motivation for blogging now, so it will be in full force by the time I no longer have to head into the office (for a few weeks anyway…)

And what better way to get things started up again than Caturday!  Enjoy.

Insight into Caturday

A response in starting over with a new daily avoidance (or non-avoidance, as the case may be), here with the Ragtag Daily Prompt (http://cactushaiku.com/2018/06/02/ragtag-daily-prompt-rdp-2-insight/), today is Insight.

You take a couple of weeks off blogging (sorry for no warning – stuff happens, or not, as the case may be) and the Daily Prompt shuts its doors.  Luckily there are other fabulous bloggers out there who are pickig up where the Daily Prompt left off.

So today, here is some Insight into Caturday:
