NaNoPoblano – Day 30 (November 30): Last day of the challenges!
Go NaNoPoblano (National Blog Posting Month) (https://cheerpeppers.wordpress.com/) ! And day 30 of 30 Days of Thankfulness (https://mcclendonvilla.wordpress.com/2016/10/29/30-days-of-thankfulness/).
It’s the final day of NaNoPoblano and 30 Days of Thanksgiving. Thanks for the challenges!! I always enjoy challenges that give me the excuse to blog more, and there were great ones. Don’t know what’s coming in December – there was one last year
So, to end my NaNoPoblano and Thanksgiving posts, I am thankful for new windows for our basement that were installed today. I showed some inside views earlier today, now here are the outside views, before and after, of those same windows:
The one bedroom
The big window
The bathroom – oops. No before…
And now, a scene from A Christmas Carol – this is kind of how I’m feeling right now.
But, it’s Christmas movie season, and so far it’s been It’s a Wonderful Life, and George C. Scott’s A Christmas Carol. Tonight, it’s Elf. What’s next? I’ll let you know! Thanks for November 🙂

Yay, very nice Emily 😊 Congrats on the windows and also the challenge. Many blessings!
Thanks!! Hope you are having a good week 🙂
The windows look great! Congratulations on them! I bet that feels so awesome!
Also, congratulations on finishing the challenge! Way to go! 🙂
Thanks! It does feel good having new windows – they really do make the basement feel less yucky… Congrats to you too 🙂
What beautiful windows. 🙂
Thank you for participating in 30 Days of Thankfulness. I’m sorry that I dropped the ball the last week or so on visiting and commenting. This just went haywire here. I do plan to go back and read and comment on the ones that I missed.
Other than posting something every day, I don’t have any challenges of my own for December. So, December will be a surprise for me, too. 🙂
Have a blessed week and thanks again!
No worries! It’s a busy time of year. I admire your dedication to creating and facilitating this challenge – I could never do it!! Have a wonderful day 🙂
Thank you. That is such a nice thing to say. I appreciate it very much! 🙂
Sure you could! The Thankfulness theme was easy to come up with because November holds Thanksgiving. Other months aren’t necessarily so easy. December has Christmas and I am working on Christmas themed posts for my fiber arts blog Stitchety-do-da that has been woefully ignored since I created it. I am hoping to rectify that. But, I want to do more poetry and photography-type posts on McClendon Villa. I’m doing random stuff posts on PS Annie! for December. I’m probably biting off way more than I can chew this month. We’ll see how it goes.
I hope that you have a wonderful day, too. If you read my PS Annie! post for today, you’ll see how ours has gone so far. 🙂
Yay! for finishing the November challenges. I’ve enjoyed reading/seeing yours. Those new windows look good! 🙂 Now, on to a fun filled December! 🙂
And I really enjoyed yours!! And yes, here’s to December! And, quite frankly, to the demise of 2016… Have a good day!
