Today (from 365 Picture Today from 365 Picture Today): Abandoned from day 53 in a row or walking.
Originally a courthouse but I remember it as the maritime museum before it was kicked out for some reason and now it sits abandoned in the heart of tourist central.

The empty arch where the grand doors should be is the whole story for me. It reads like a silenced mouth on the building, and it says “abandoned” better than any sign could. The cream and teal together are lovely, and the neon sign sneaking in on the left is exactly the right amount of friction.
One gentle nudge: the vignette is working hard in the corners and pulling my eye off that archway. The building’s own textures tell the story better than the dark edges do.
