A busy Saturday
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/relish/
Well, busy compared to other Saturdays for me…
First, to the bank to sign some papers – you’d think in this electronic age we wouldn’t have to sign so many papers. As I walked to the bank, I took in the huge piles of leaves reminding me that it is indeed fall.
Then, lunch with my friend Darca – we had so much to talk about that I forgot to take pictures of the delicious sushi meal. I did, however, take a couple of pictures of the bay window we were seated by.
After lunch, I went home and Kevin and I headed out to get coffee, and catfood, and to wander around at the brand new Whole Foods. A quick tour was all we did – it was busy and a little overwhelming. But we are definitely going back sometime when it’s less new.
Then – yes, there is more! Then off to the symphony with mom and dad. A little Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto 1 (used to like this piece, now…meh…) and a little Nielson Symphony #2, which was delightful (I don’t use that word much, but it suited this piece for sure!)
Finally, home, dinner with Kevin, and kitties. It was a nice day, but I’m now kind of enjoying a day of doing nothing…
