A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/born-to-be-with-you/
Friday. Well, yesterday was Friday. And here are some of the highlights for me on another beautiful day (it’s never going to rain again…) in Victoria, BC.
A walk with a goal – to Fisherman’s Wharf and fish tacos from The Fish Store (http://www.floatingfishstore.com/).
One of my favourite houses on Dallas Road. It’s just cool.
Past the Coast Guard on the way. Yes, the grass is all brown. Hasn’t rained in almost 3 months.
Entering the Park
Here we are
A quick walk past the storefronts
Couldn’t NOT take a picture of the kitty sleeping in the cubby on a boat
And, just in case…
The food court
Of course, I didn’t take pics of the fish tacos (that would be expected). Instead, here is a picture of the buzzer they give you to let you know when your food is ready – handed to me with the warning of “don’t drop it in the sea”. Don’t hear that every day!
Then I came home, ate lunch, and saw Nicholas!
Then, later, after Kevin got home, we walked downtown for supper and then a quick trip to the night market (for truffles) on the way home.
Here are the remnants of supper
And the restaurant sign through the window next to our table (it reads Zaffran – http://zaffran.ca/)
The Night market, and the Inner Harbour on the way home.
And now, it’s Saturday. What excitement is in store for today? Only time will tell…but no excitement until after my second cup of coffee please.
