Something to get me going for January, Bloganuary. Day 24: Name an attraction or town close to home that you still haven’t got around to visiting.
Well, that used to be the Bug Zoo, but I did get to visit that a few years back. Yes, there really is a bug zoo here, and it is pretty cool although I confess I did NOT hold any of the creepy crawly critters. I did watch others do so though.
BUT there are many places around here I have not visited and someday hope to. Just not during tourist season.. Guess I have never done a carriage ride (they go down our street and we have often wondered if we could catch one and get a lift home…)

The bug zoo sounds interesting! It would also be really fun to take a carriage ride. 🙂
Just some of the weird tourist things we got going on here.
There used to be a carriage passing by our place too and we wander the same. We were between the stable and the area where the tours are offered.
It’s always a little weird, but when people stay with us they do love having the carriages going by our house!
