Bloganuary 2022, Day 3: The last time when I left my comfort zone
Something to get me going for January, Bloganuary. Day 3: The last time when I left my comfort zone.
Well, the last time I left my comfort zone was August 23rd this year when I went back to an in-person work space, luckily in an office with a door that closes, but in the middle of an open office where people are allowed to sit at their desks with no masks on, people I have to walk past every time I have to go to the bathroom.
Then every day since then when I worked in person, and heading back in tomorrow (well, likely not as I am requesting remote work because literally everything I do is virtual anyway) in the middle of sky rocketing numbers.
Can I have a new non-comfort zone soon? Maybe one I don’t have to face every single day of the work week?

Glad to hear you are requesting remote work. Why are some places so fixated on everyone being in the office, anyway? Micromanage much?
And for no good reason. They tell us it’s because we are a service unit, but all the service I provide is virtual anyway, so as far as I can tell it’s just so they can “keep an eye on us”, not that they even know if I’m in my office….Crazy!
My fingers are crossed for you tomorrow!
