Forgot the title…Doh!

A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/inhabit/

This is also my post for Forgiveness Fridays (https://forgivingconnects.com/2017/08/18/todays-forgiving-fridays-loving-it-all/).  Something that made me happy this week and forget the anger I was feeling about things that happened at that place…

I was walking through the park and, as usual, saw peacocks.

But NOT as usual saw BABY peacocks!!  I have never seen babies in the park before, but there they were.  SO cute!  I was smiling the rest of my walk 🙂

  1. What a wonderful treat. Glad it brought you joy.

  2. We do not have peacocks here (not in the wild) so I always admire them when I see them. I’ve never seen baby peacocks!

    • Well, these aren’t “wild” per se. There is a petting zoo in the park, but they can’t really keep the peacocks from wandering, so they do. Sometimes as far as our street (which is several blocks away)!

  3. Yippee! Baby peacocks as a Forgiving Fridays mascot. 🙂 This is a magnificent post for Forgiving Fridays, thank you for contributing, Emily! I really appreciate how you use your walks and what you see as a way to shift your focus to the positive. To me, that is forgiveness. YES!
Have a great weekend. Give your kitties a pet for me. Debbie

  4. The babies! So, so cute!!

  5. Awwwww … love the babies!!! I love peacocks … and ducks … and all critters. Sorry bad things happened at ‘that place’ this week … I had hoped you would have a good, peaceful week. Sigh. Well, at least the weekend is here now! Sit on your freshly painted deck with a glass of wine and a good book … or Kevin. 😀

  6. Hello,
How beautiful. I haven’t seen baby peacocks before. Lovely images and I’m glad you were able to forget your worries when you came across these beauties,
    Best wishes,
    Di🌹🙋🏻
