Friday, at last!

A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/gate/

AND for Forgiveness Friday (https://forgivingconnects.com/2017/07/14/todays-forgiving-fridays-results-of-my-7-day-quiet-my-mind-retreat/), because I’ve been fretting about what to post for Forgiveness Friday for awhile, and these pictures seemed to work for me.  Why?  Well, my friend Debbie over at Forgiving Connects said “To me, photography can be a powerful form of forgiveness and letting go, just in the essence of their beauty.”

And now it’s time to let go of the week and move on into the weekend…AND 3 weeks of holidays 🙂  Staycation, here I come!

  1. Oh Emily!! I love this – yay! You did it. ❤ Forgiving Fridays, here we come …. I'm honored to post this as part of my blog this week. Blessings & have a great weekend. Debbie
ps – is it possibly that your cat is forgiving stuff? Sort of looks like that. Too cute!

    • Thanks! And, yes. Elliot is always forgiving me…for not giving him food, for not giving him scratches, for not throwing his toys for him… Have a wonderful weekend!!

  2. Yay!!! A bonus … more kitty pics! Love it! Happy belated Friday and have a great staycation!

    • Thanks!! Hope you had a good weekend (guess the good think about Drumpf spending all his weekends golfing – no time for tweets!)

      • Yes, it was a good weekend and I’m sad to see it go. It is true that weekends are typically free of b.s. from Trump, but this weekend was different … he went on a tweeting tirade Saturday morning, and then Scaramucci, the new communications director, did the talk show rounds and showed us just what a creep he really is. Plus, a truck with 38 migrants was found in Texas in the sweltering heat, 8 people dead inside. So, my fingers have been kept busy this weekend. 🙂 Hugs to the kitties! One of these days I will have to send you pics of our Significant Seven!

  3. I just want to say again how much I love this post. Just doing something happy can help with forgiveness! Today I was upset with my partner – we may be splitting up – and I went to a Vision Board workshop. Emily it really helped 🙂

Sending you blessings. Feel free to contribute to #ForgivingFridays anytime (it doesn’t have to be on Friday) Debbie
