Scenes from the old garden
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/epitome/
You know for a short work week, made even shorted due to being sick for 2 of the 4 days, it was sure jam-packed and busy. When I finally got home yesterday, I took some time to water the garden and take a few pictures of what’s happening there.
The raised beds. Don’t know why, but after I planted things, many of the leaves dropped off. Most of the plants seem to be coming back now though, so I hope they make it. Here’s what’s going on in the raised beds.
And on to prettier things – some flowers in the back (and a few that still need to be planted…tomorrow…)

Wow that white flower is picture perfect! What kind of flower is that?
It’s a dahlia! I love them, although I don’t take as good care of them as I should (you’re supposed to dig them up and keep them inside for winter. I can’t be bothered…) Most of the ones I had in pots last year have come back though, so I’m ok with being lazy this year 🙂
Familiar scenes 🙂
