Running for Bacon: Training Day 5
Wednesday was training day 5 (still on that Couch 2 5K). I ran the same intervals as on Monday, but didn’t go as far because it was chilly out there! And I had not layered up for the run, so I just went out, did my intervals, took a few pictures and went back. I have to say that I was very proud of myself for getting out there though. I had been waffling about it (you know the waffling: I’ll do it tomorrow, or later, or whatever), but I went and I was happy I went (of course – that’s also the way it goes. Hard to get going, but always happy that you did!)
And now, in no particular order, here are some sights from Running For Bacon Day 5!

Nice captures. I wonder what that ‘1000 m’ is about, though. >-I
I think it has to do with the walkway – there are markers all along the path.
Great scenery for a run. Makes it less arduous I’d imagine.
It does help for sure!!
Did you also have the voice saying “But if you don’t go, you’re going to have to tell everyone you didn’t go.”? That one got me out in 30+C degree temps and pouring rain.
I’ve just found a marathon that runs from Everest Base Camp to Namche. Tempted….. 😀
Oh, there is that too – especially now with the decision to blog my runs. This week is going to be hard, but I’ll get it done! I only run one marathon – the one here that starts 3 blocks from my house 🙂
Well, that’s handy. 🙂
