Running for Bacon: Training Day 4
And now for Day 4, the beginning of week 2 of training (still on Couch to 5K). Today was 1.5 min running/2min walking for 4 intervals, and 1min/1min for 2 intervals. Yes, it’s slow going, but with the warm up and cool down I got another 3.5 K under my belt (I’m slow too, so sue me!)
And it was another lucky, sunny (if a little brisk – well, brisk for Victoria) day for a run! Hope tomorrow is nice too…
Here are some scenes along the way.
Ducks (lots and lots of ducks)
And a bald eagle at the top of the really high totem pole (sorry – only an iPhone. No telephoto lens…)
People here love hanging ornaments on their outdoor trees!
Magnolias!

Beautiful views on your run! What a nice day for December. Good luck!
Thanks!
The totem pole is cool enough! Throw a perched eagle on top of it? Awesome! There’s an eagles nest documented at a lake near our house. I kayak out there a lot and every now and then I’ll spot one roosting or hunting. They’re really beautiful when in flight.
These are the moments I need to learn how to use my DSLR for!!
Do it! Once you do though, you’ll be hooked! Just know it. 😃
Gorgeous!! And congrats on sticking with your workouts. 🙂
Thanks! So far so good…
