NaNoPoblano Day 16: Monday again?
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt (well, day three and no Daily. I am almost ready to give up on it…) AND in non-avoidance of NaNoPoblano 2015 https://rarasaur.wordpress.com/nanopoblano-2015.
But wait, was that Glenn??
Oh, sorry. I got ahead of myself Sunday. A day of laundry, grocery shopping, visiting a friend just out of the hospital, and going to a concert. Kind of glad I blog – otherwise I would never remember what I did on the weekends. It’s often more than I think (but really not a whirlwind of drama and excitement – which is ok),
First of all, it was a gorgeous day. No rain, blue skies, and cool clouds. This is us driving to see our friend Judy, who was just home today from the hospital (surgery, home and feeling good!)
It’s definitely fall (almost winter)
A few horses and carriages are still out there, even off-season.
We brought Judy some chocolate and an azalea plant. Why a plant? Thought it was pretty. Why chocolate? Goes without saying…
Last night I went to a concert with mom. The group playing was Aventa (http://www.aventa.ca/) – as a board member, one of the things I do is sell tickets, so we were there early. This is one of the cases of musical instruments in the hallway.
This is the pen on the table.
And that was Sunday. Now I just need to wake up for Monday…except…was that Glenn?????

Great photos! I wish we had the amazing skies you did this weekend… it’s been raining so much here. Overall sounds like you had a lovely weekend! 🙂
Thanks! It was one day of sun amongst a week (and more) of rain. Well, it didn’t rain all summer so I guess we’re due!
Sunday was a bright sunny day – and like you, that meant we had to get and spend some time in it. We saw a few horse and carriages riding about the streets – a sign that winter has not arrived yet. 😉
We definitely need to enjoy the sunny days when we get them at this time of year!
I’m glad the surgery went well and you are feeling good. Great pics as always.
Thanks!
