The house retrospective: Day 5. The Front of the House
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/mirror-mirror-on-the-wall/
Sorry for the late post. I got side-tracked with work, some painting (still working on that hallway!) and a few other assorted things. But here it is: the final post for the painting of the exterior of the House. The front of the house. What I’ll do tomorrow? Don’t know yet…I’ll figure it out then!

Note the new finishing pieces at the bottom of the stairs. We have been wanting to get rid of those spindles for years!
And here we are. Done!

It is indeed a bit … overmuch for the two of you. You could turn it into a B&B … You could invite everyone you know to sleep over. You could— oh, never mind. It’s gorgeous !
Although, we do have the kitties too 🙂
Your across the street neighbors must love the little jewel you have created. The transformation is amazing. What a difference the color of paint can make. Bravo to you for such beautiful and excellent color selections.
We have gotten a lot of positive feedback from neighbours. Of course, we got a lot of positive feedback from neighbours just when we bought the house and mowed the lawn regularly – the previous owners were so seldom around (never) I understand the place was a mess all the time. Just wait until we have the front yard all fixed up!!
It must be a joy to come home to that vision realized. Beautiful, well done.
It does make me smile now!
