And a good Saturday to you too!
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/take-me-to-the-moon/
I’m tired. We had a fabulous evening out last night at Judy and Gord’s where we dined on home-made pate and lamb. Much wine was consumed amid great conversation and merriment. We all stayed up past our bedtimes. Now I’m tired. But I’m here to present to you kitties of Friday.

Trying to figure out how similar your kitties are to each other. Do they both have spots on the side? Can’t figure out sometimes whether I’m seeing one cat over and over or some of each. At any rate, they are incredibly beautiful..vestiges of their wild predecessors. http://judydykstrabrown.com/2015/09/19/to-the-moon-alice/
It is hard to tell in the pictures. Elliot is half Bengal, half Savannah cat and has short legs and a brown coat under the spots. Jasper is full Savannah, has long legs and a more grey-brown coat under the spots (he’s also thinner than Elliot, but we don’t let Elliot know…)
OMG. I just looked at a few sites on both Bengal and Savannah cats. (Which for some reason I had never know existed prior to this.) For the past 28 years, I have thought Blue Burmese were the most beautiful cats I’d ever seen. (I inherited one wild one who moved in with me and proceeded to have 3 kittens. I couldn’t bear to give any away so I kept them all and the one surviving 14 year old cat moved with me to Mexico.) But! I must say that these two breeds you’ve just introduced me to are the most beautiful cats I’ve ever seen! I think coming upon one unawares, I’d think they were small leopards! If I didn’t already have 3 dogs and 2 cats who have more or less moved out with the effrontery of my allowing dogs to move in, I would love to have one–or two!

I love that last picture– the old cat stink-eye! So funny.
The “get out of my face with that phone” look…
