More kitties, some flowers, and a house

A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt

Yesterday the scaffolding started to come down, so you can start to see the final product.  There are still lots of bits and pieces and some second coats to do (like the columns and the stairs), but it’s almost done!

At the end of my run today, I walked home and took a few pictures along the way.  I thought about taking pictures during the run, but I opted for running instead of photo shoots.

And here are a couple of shots from our backyard I took after I weeded (I hate morning glory, have I ever mentioned that?  HATE it!)

And, of course, kitties.  Being, well, kitties.

  1. ….very lovely flowers, wow. If the flower is white, it is not Morning Glory per se. That is a cousin, a weed, named Binding Weed, which binds up just about anything in its path. Here in Kamloops, I can only catch them in Spring, before they’ve a chance of getting very far and pull them. We also have a huge Red Maple, so between the Binding Weed and the Maple shoots….well, I feel like you do at the moment!

    • Ah – thanks. I’ve been blaming the wrong plant all this time. I am thankful we at least have a small yard where it’s relatively easy to keep under control! 🙂

  2. Ha! The kitty photos are funny! Oh, the house, the house……beautiful!

  3. XCUs of Jasper ! 🙂 – oh, and Nicholas the Nut ! (XCU is Extreme Close-up.)
Did Elliott pull that blind up himself ? [grin]
House is looking wonderful, Em !
