Zoned out
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/the-zone/
After work yesterday I decided to stop at the garden centre. Hey, it was Friday, and it had been a busy and tiring week (ironic, since it had also been a short week…) Anyway, I wanted peppers. I had seen these beautiful pepper plants when Kevin and I had been there last week, and I wanted them. And a butterfly house (which I did get, but which I haven’t set up yet, so no pics yet).
Of course, I didn’t just get peppers. I also picked up a few plants to fill some “holes” in the back yard, and picked up a couple of other fun things for our deck.
First, some lavender
Then an eggplant plant. It will be interesting to see how these turn out!
And finally, an assortment of sweet and hot peppers to go with the assortment of tomatoes already blooming, salad greens, and herbs already sitting out there on the deck. I’m getting hungry already!

I love the way you took this prompt and made it your own. It makes me want to get a plant and take care of it 🙂
Thanks! I look on the Daily Prompt as a great excuse to post about what I like to post 🙂
Growing vegetable is a rewarding experience. 🙂 Beautiful!
Thanks! I can hardly wait for fresh veggies!!
