Three Days, Three Quotes #2

While I don’t normally take on nominated challenges, I’ve seen this one floating around for a few weeks and was intrigues.  So, I was nominated by The Haunted Wordsmith to add my three days three quotes post to the mix.  Thanks for the nomination!

The rules are:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.
  2. Post a quote for three consecutive days.
  3. Nominate three bloggers each day.

And now, for today’s quote.

“I do not like green eggs and ham.

I do not like them, Sam-I-am”  Dr. Seuss

The eternal struggle.

I once performed Green Eggs and Ham with a friend.  I played bass, he played something else…drums?  I don’t remember now.  He is a pianist, but I am pretty sure he was not playing piano.  Anyway, we recited Green Eggs and Ham while beatnik jamming.  For a concert.  It was a hoot!

“So long and thanks for all the fish.”   Douglas Adams.

Why?  Why not??  I once used this quote to thank everyone I worked with when I was leaving my job.  Some people got it… 🙂

Now, I won’t nominate anyone specifically (already breaking the rules, as you knew I would), but if you would like to join in, please do!!  I hope I remember to post #2 tomorrow…
