So, without further ado, N is for … Not good at.

The challenge today was to write a list poem around something you are good at by saying what you are NOT good at (AKA, bad at…)

What to be bad at when you are a good leader

I’m bad at keeping things a secret for no reason
I’m bad at ignoring problems that people bring to me
I’m bad at keeping people I know have the same problem from ever talking to each other so they can solve that problem together

I’m bad at not holding leaders to account when their actions harm others
I’m bad at informing people that I can’t be bothered to do some digging into solutions for them
I’m bad at not taking action in whatever small way I can

I’m bad at burying my head in the sand when I see conflict on the horizon
I’m bad at telling people there is no room at the table for them
I’m bad at waiting for someone else to make space for the difficult conversations when I know no one else will
