I’ve revealed my theme (A poem a day…with picture), and of course, I am unashamedly blogging my theme letters on the fly. So, here goes nothing!
So, without further ado, I is for ...Imagism. Imagism is “a type of poetry that uses clear and direct statements in order to put an exact picture in the reader’s head.”
Theatre opens.
Fanciful designs in gold on wallpaper
with stone muses peering down
at seats slowly fill.
At the balcony”s edge
a man stands greeting friends.
I gaze around, in front, below,
waiting patiently,
hoping the chairs
in front of me are not
occupied by giants
or big hair.

At the last two concerts mom and I have been too this woman has been in the row in front of us (fortunately not RIGHT in front of us) which this enormous hair thing on top of her head, that would be right in the way if you were behind her. So rude!

We did ok…not so much the person down the row from us behind the woman with the big hair…
Yes! Hoping the chairs in front of me…I feel the same way when I go to concerts!
