Blogging from A to Z Challenge: V is for… (#AtoZChallenge)

Welcome to my April 2023 Great and Powerful Blogging from A to Z Challenge!

I’ve revealed my theme (My life in first drafts), but this year, instead of pretending there were ever plans, I am unashamedly blogging my theme letters on the fly.  So, here goes nothing!

So, without further ado, V is for Veterinarian.

It will be short today – there isn’t much to say about this and I am feeling a little out of sorts today.

I wanted to be a vet when I was in grade school. I studied all the right classes when I got to high school and started Pre Vet Med when I got to university. I even spent a couple of days at a large animal clinic somewhere in a small town in the province – weird that I remember that, but little of the specifics around it.

Then, I realized sciences, and in particular, physics were hard and I moved on.

I am happier I think just having cats and not having to take care of all kinds of animals all the time. I think being a vet would be a very hard job sometimes.

Thanks for visiting my 2023 A to Z Challenge – Letter V.  You can find links to more blogs participating in this challenge at Letter A, A to Z 2023 Challenge Master List (Google Docs).

Guess I’m kind of a rebel too…although I do like using the “official” letters…

  1. Sweet pic 🐱

  2. Ahhh Cats can get comfortable anywhere. Makes me want to take a nap, too. 🙂

  3. Because I know you to be a person of great compassion, especially toward animals, I think you would have been a terrific vet. But, you’re right … it would be hard many times and you’re also a sensitive person, so it would take a toll on you. You made the right choice … this way, you can just heap love on the kitties!

  4. Wow I like this photo, welcome on my blog if you are interested in light subject:
