Today, “Peculiar happenings”.
The number of peculiar happenings in the world right now is pretty endless. Line ups at empty grocery stores, empty shelves in the stores when you finally get inside, silent downtown streets. And most peculiar of all this week for me was the parking lot at work on a weekday two weeks or so before the end of the term (I work at a college). One of those things I wish for every morning when I get to work – a good parking spot, and now I wish I hadn’t found one…

It is very strange to see so much “emptiness”. I think the world is realizing that being out and about doesn’t have to be a 24-7 kind of thing. Before we know it, the virus will pass (hopefully sooner than later) and everyone will be back to the hustle and bustle they know so well!
It makes us appreciate what we had and will have again!
