Reva heard the night train, the midnight train to Georgia. No, not really. Just the night train. She just needed to make up fun stuff in her mind ’cause that train goes right by her bedroom window and keeps her awake all night long…

A long, long time ago, in a townhouse far a few miles from here, a train ran past my back patio/bedroom window more than 10 times a day for more than 2 weeks. The fair train. Not a perk. Not a perk. (And I love trains, but that’s too close — the first time, it scared me half to death!)
I don’t know how anyone could ever shut that out!
It’s. Not. Possible. Whole house shook. Moved dresser items. For almost all of August. Not a perk. Otherwise, I loved that townhouse and were I single, I’d live there again.
