Blogging from A to Z Challenge: U is for…Ungulate’s Feast (#AtoZChallenge)
Welcome to my April 2019 Great and Powerful Blogging from A to Z Challenge!
I’ve revealed my theme (A picture-story a day (in the life, so to speak)), and as I have every year, I am going to be blogging my theme letters on the fly – this year I didn’t even plan to do otherwise! So, here goes nothing 🙂
Today, U is for…Ungulate’s Feast
Here in Victoria we have deer…lots of deer. And in some areas, tulips need to be kept in cages as they are apparently a delicacy for said ungulates.
So, to all those people who have to cage tulips…
I say, come to our neighbourhood where tulips roam free!

Caged tulips? Poor little things… Looks like they did something really bad 😛
Too tasty to leave for the deer!
Nothing as heart-breaking as waiting 6 months for tulips to bloom, seeing them budded up, ready to bloom and then overnight – gone! Arrrggh!
They don’t even make it to budded in the Deer Zones!
