A change of plans

You know, I’ve been avoiding these prompts for awhile now. I wonder if I should try something new? I actually began this blog as a place to post my random thoughts and pictures but, as you may have noticed, I haven’t been my originally sardonic self for quite some time. So, I am going to try a change. You will still get flowers and kitties (including Kitten Thursday and Caturday), but I need to write more. Not a lot more, and probably more like rambling thoughts of things that happened in my day kind of writing. And maybe, just maybe, I will not completely avoid all the Daily Prompts in my ramblings. Thanks for indulging me!
Penchant is a good word. Not that I hear it a lot these days. I, myself, have a penchant for avoidance and procrastination. I’m working on it…

Ha! That is so funny to hear you say your ‘big girl’ camera. When we go out my husband always (I mean always!!) asks me, “You bringing the twin camera (we both have the same point & shoot) or the big boy?” That is the one with interchangeable lenses. DOF is a constant battle with me and the big boy. Looking forward to your penchant for posting!
I’m so used to being portable with the iPhone, that carrying around the big-girl camera WITH lenses feels like too much of a burden to do every day. I think I’ll have to take some special “shooting” walks to even it all out!

Good luck with the additional writing! My blog has really become pictures of Choppy and Schooner over time. Nothing wrong with that (in my mind), but I should consider doing some longer writing projects as well – I could always use the practice!

I agree with Joey! It’s your blog. I love the pics, flowers & kitties, but also enjoy your writing — as long as Kitten Thursday remains a fixture, I’m game for whatever you want to do! 😉 And anyway, the flowers will soon be gone for a while … :'(

Yes, I already visited Kitten Thursday for my weekly ‘fix’ 🙂 And you are lucky … my flowers are mostly dead now, and I really need to get out and pull my dead sunflowers, as my tiny front yard looks like something from a horror film! But alas … I am waiting for … energy! Mine is playing hide and seek with me. 😉
