What I’ve done on 2017 Summer Holidays Part II, Day (9) 10

A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/partner/

Ok, let’s forget about Day 9.  That was Kitten Thursday, after all.  Plus, part of vacation is doing nothing, right??

Today, however, I spent 2 hours in the main floor bathroom scraping and sanding off lines from wallpaper borders (I HATE wallpaper – have I mentioned that before??).  Can you tell?  Me neither…sigh…  I just want to paint!!

  1. You sure do know how to whoop it up on vacation, Emily!

  2. Kitten Thursday is FAR more important than scraping, spackling, climbing ladders, painting and the rest, so as far as I’m concerned, Day #9 was a complete success!

    • 🙂 I agree. Although, I will feel pretty good when I can paint this week – Kevin is actually helping me finish prep this weekend (it’s a long weekend!) so I can give it up to paint for my last week away from the place I have to go to earn money. Hope your weekend went well!!

      • Ah, a long weekend is always welcome, but … kind of wasted when you were already off on vacation! Yes, my weekend was quiet and peaceful, but sadly I didn’t get as much done as I had hoped. Do we ever?
