Keeping things normal

A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/distant/

With everything that’s happened in the past couple of days and weeks, I just wanted to blog something mundane today.  So, here we go.

Kevin and I went to our favourite restaurant on Saturday – Olo – and here are the dishes from the tasting menu!

Radish salad

Lamb Tartar

And for the me, who can’t eat gluten, my favourite:  Sunflower Seed Risotto!

Next, smoked salmon

Then a bit of duck

Followed by a yummy chocolate (flourless) cake (picture taken after a couple of bites…)

And then, after cleaning all out plates, a nice walk home.

  1. The restaurant made nice presentations of the food. Seems it always tastes better when it is attractive looking. 🙂

  2. Looks like a good meal spent with good company! 🙂
