An Outing
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/bitter/
Yes – we actually got out of town yesterday! Mom and Kevin and I took a trip up to Chemainus to see 2 Pianos 4 Hands, which if you haven’t seen it (or heard of it), you need to get out there and check it out – especially if you ever took piano lessons when you were a kid!!
Between brunch and the show, we wandered around the town a bit, and here is some of what we saw:
Chemainus is famous for its murals
And keeping Christmas alive all year round
Quaint scenes around town
And then we headed back for the show
Luckily it was a gorgeous, sunny day! Hopefully it will stay this way for awhile now… Have a good Monday!

So fun, Emily! Great town. Do you play piano? 😊
I used to, although I do have my parent’s piano now, so I should see if I still can!
That would be neat! If you play, let me know? You could message me on Facebook or something. Too FUN. xoxo
Looks like a very interesting place! Funny that you should mention piano lessons. My parents, when I was 5 or so, decided that I MUST take piano lessons, so they found a nearby teacher of piano, and off I went. Now, I was born with limited hearing, among other limitations, so in essence I was tone-deaf. After the second lesson, the teacher, from what I was told, offered to pay my parents to keep me at home and discontinue the lessons … she also recommended that they not consider a career in music for me. I must have been even worse than I thought! Perhaps that explains why my family dons their headphones whenever I am singing in the kitchen! 😀
It’s good to know early one when you’re not suited for a profession 🙂 Wish someone in your country had gone to president’s school when younger and told the same thing…
That makes two of us! Probably more like a few hundred million by now! 🙂
