Remember how yesterday I said that cold was relative, and posted a picture of a camellia blooming in our front yard?  Well, cold is definitely relative when you live in a place where few houses are insulated and heritage houses (like ours) have single pane windows with storms, and it’s below zero and windy, and your furnace has just stopped working.  Now I have to spend the 4th day of the year, and my 2nd day back at work, trying to get someone out who can service our furnace.

This is how cold it is here…and I sit in a big old drafty house with no furnace.  Yay!
