So much for snow…oh, and dinner too

A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt

So, originally the weather forecast for yesterday warned of possible snow.  Of course, I knew it was never going to happen (although others were excited that they might see some of the white stuff for Christmas, or at least before Christmas).  Instead, this is what greeted us yesterday morning:

Yes.  A beautiful sunny day with no rain (it didn’t start pissing rain until after 10:00 – then it poured all night.)  I don’t know what the temp is right now, but I better find out since kickboxing is in an hour or so, and I have to head outside.  Hope it’s not icy!

We also went for dinner with the folks Kevin works with. So, naturally I took some pictures of

The spicy Caesar

The fish tacos

And the giant Christmas tree at the shopping complex his clinic is in

And now, it’s time to finish coffee and get kicking!!

  1. We got a dusting last night.

  2. What a huge tree!
    No snow here either. Drat!
We do have tons of rain and flooding going on here on the Texas Gulf Coast. Hardly an acceptable substitute for snow!
We are supposed to have some night time lows in the 20s later this week. 🙂

    Have a blessed night!
