Haunted, eh? I always think the moon has a haunted quality. Especially when I try to take a picture of it with the old iPhone!

I don’t have much to share with you today. Yesterday I spent the afternoon cleaning the main floor bathroom literally from floor to ceiling. I want to paint it before the end of the year, and the walls needed washing – plus we are having a lot of people over this weekend, so clean is good! I also cleaned the kitchen from top to bottom. So, the two biggest areas are done. Today I will spend the morning and some of the afternoon upstairs cleaning up for our guests, then I will move outside to spend some time in the fresh air staining the deck and cleaning up some of the garden.
Tomorrow, well there will still be more house to clean – gotta love a vacation…

A Monday at Home

Yes – day one of my week off. Wish I could do this every day…sigh…
Spent some time finishing staining the floor of the deck, and started the skirt. Here are some befores and afters:
3 hours later, it rained…glad I got it done! I won’t be able to finish the skirt today though as it rained all night. Guess I will be spending the day working on cleaning the house!
After working on the deck and doing some gardening, I went for a walk (got home just as it started to rain). As you can see, we are still in full bloom here!
And finally, I went to kickboxing class, came home dripping, greeted by Kevin and a couple of kitties who can’t figure out why I went out in the rain to get drenched in sweat…I have to say, it felt good though!
