Share Your World – 2016 Week 42

If you wanted to de-clutter where you live, what room / space would you start with? (And why, if you’re feel like admitting to it.)
The basement. It seems to be where all the stuff goes from de-cluttering the rest of the house!
If you want to remember something important, how do you do it (sticky note on the fridge, string around your finger, etc.), and does it work?
Aside from keeping notes at work on my desk, and on notepads in the kitchen, I have the best To-Do app on my phone. It usually works, in that I don’t forget to do too many things, but it’s pretty easy to defer “tasks” to another day using that app!
If you could create a one room retreat just for yourself, what would be the most important sense to emphasize: sight (bright natural light, dim light, etc.), hearing (silence, music, fountain, etc.), smell (candles, incense, etc), touch (wood, stone, soft fabrics, etc.), or taste (herbal tea, fresh fruit, etc.)?
Silence. Shhhhh…..
If you could interview one of your great-great-great grandparents, who would it be (if you know their name) and what would you ask?
So, bacon – is it the best, or what?

A little breakfast – I think this morning I’ll add bacon!
The wall over my desk at work. At the top left is “Man’s Inhumanity to Man” – the photo version (still waiting for the final potted version!), at the top right is the cowbell part for “Don’t Fear the Reaper” (don’t ask), and at the bottom is my Velociraptor Raptor Free Workplace sign, unfortunately noting that it’s been 0 days since the last incident (don’t ask…)

Overall, not a bad weekend. We canceled dinner plans with Judy and Gord to hunker down through stormpocalypse on the Saturday, which, as you know already, never hit. I guess that’s a good thing, although I do love a good storm!
Sunday I went to the symphony with mom – a little late Baroque/early Classical flute concerto action. It was a pleasant little concert, with a guest conductor who may become permanent next year. He was enjoyable from the audience perspective – I’ll have to ask some musician friends what they think of him!
Then, home for a little imbibement, and some dinner.
Ah, weekend. Why do you always go by so quickly??
