Introducing Man’s Inhumanity to Man

A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt

I promised you a look at my first (and probably only) piece of thrown pottery.  So, here again is the final, pre-glazed version

The printed version of the photo on my work wall

And now, the glazed 3D version

And here it is at work with my teeny tiny Buddha in it

And next to my other important piece at work, my More Cowbell cowbell (don’t ask)

Thanks for indulging me!

  1. What lurks in that mysterious mind to come up with such a creation?

  2. It’s very pretty. I especially like the printed version on your wall.

  3. I love that it’s white. It’s like a little cloud pot. 🙂

It looks like it was a lot of fun to make – did you not enjoy the process? I’ve always wanted to try it.

    • It was fun to make, but also a little frustrating as just when you thought you were getting it, the pot would go “sploosh” into a different direction. It took me the whole time just to get Man’s Inhumanity to Man! Of course, I am sure I would get better with practice… I recommend trying it though!

      • One day I hope to! And I have no doubt you’d get better with practice! You play instruments, so being able to manipulate things with your hands is an earned strength for you. 🙂

  4. I love it! 👏🏻😀
