Friday dinner out…and kitty
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/sidewalk/
It was a long and busy week last week. Well, I guess it didn’t really feel long, because it was so busy. The busy-ness was good though…took my mind off other things that are hovering in the background at work. I love facilitating workshops and helping people, so I felt like I was really doing worthwhile things for a change. Next week is a short week, but it will be crazy – first week of classes. Nothing like September at a post-secondary institution!
Anyway, I was tired and didn’t want to cook, and had a Groupon to one of our favourite restaurants, so Kevin and I headed out when he got home and had this…
Yum!!
And of course, waiting to greet us when we got home…

YUM! Emily this is great. Looks like quite a treat. And bless your kitties 🙂
What kind of workshops do you facilitate?
Blessings,
Debbie
I run workshops around using online technologies to support teaching and learning!
Cool!! I love that. Just looking at online technology now for some forgiving workshops.
What a beautiful work you do, Emily. ☺
One kitty looks a bit miffed that you did not bring home a doggy bag.
They always look miffed when we don’t bring treats!
I thought the kitty looked like it must have wanted to go, too. 🙂 I’m glad that you were able to go out and have a nice supper. Have a blessed weekend!
It was nice to get out and relax (and no dishes to wash!!) Have a wonderful weekend – I hope it’s long for you too 🙂
Thank you. 🙂 Our entire life is pretty much one long weekend these days. David is retired and I stay home to take care of him. Although sometimes we do have to go out (doctor appts, taking our daughter to work, get groceries, etc.), he loves to say, “Just relax. We have nowhere to go, nothing to do. Just relax and let it happen.”
Have a great week!
He looks a bit perturbed that you didn’t bring him any of your dinner deliciousness! lol He has such an expressive little face. 😀
He does indeed!
