Velociraptor Free – wait, check under the desk first…

A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt

Friends, I have to be honest.  This has been a really rough week.  I couldn’t have gotten through it without Kevin, my friends, and some amazing colleagues, all of whom have put up with a lot of me trying to sort a lot of things out.  And it’s still only Friday morning, with Monday looming on the horizon.  I know that somehow I will get through this – I just don’t know what I’ll look like on the other side.

To give you an idea of things I do to get me through some of my days, this mysteriously appeared on my wall at work yesterday.  And if at least one person laughs when they see this hanging in my office, my day is made.  (And yes, this idea did come from FB.)

  1. Well, I laughed. Who counted all those days? 😃

  2. I think it’s a cute sign.

  3. It made me laugh too – but I’d check out the air-conditioning and heating vents, just to be safe. Who knows what’s lurking there? Hope next week is better and brighter for you.

  4. Okay, I busted out laughing at that sign! I need one!

I’m sorry work has been such a bear for you. Hopefully it gets better soon.

    • It was easy to create, and makes me laugh every day when I change the number 🙂 As for work, I am doing my best to make it better for myself as much as I can. As for longer term, mediation begins again at the end of October, so we have a long road ahead of us…
