Macro Moments Challenge: Week 2
Week 2 of Macro Moments from Musin’ with Susan (https://musinwithsusan.com). (https://musinwithsusan.com/2016/06/29/macro-moments-week-2/). Just to remind you (and me), here’s how the challenge works:
- Choose a favorite macro photo from the past week or from your archives.
- Add the photo to your post and a brief description. I would love to know, as I am sure others would, too, what camera and lens you used and your settings.
This is a close-up of a Lamb’s Ear in our garden starting to bloom.
Taken with my iPhone 6, with the Camera+ app, 1/125 sec; f/2.2; ISO 32, no editing or cropping.

Thank you, Emily, for joining this week’s challenge and publicizing it on your blog!
My pleasure – I love the challenge!!
I love lamb’s ears but have never seen them in bloom. Great shot.
Thanks!
That’s a great shot!
I love Wooly Lamb’s Ear! It’s so soft. 🙂
Thanks! It has spread quite a bit, so I need to figure out how to split it so I can put some in the front garden…
I think if you dig it up and then just kind of break apart the root ball like you are breaking bread might be a good way to split it. 🙂 I had to do that with some hosta a friend gave me several years ago where I used to live.
Thanks for the tip!! I’ll give that a try come fall and let you know what happens 🙂
Looking forward to the pics already! 🙂
