Yes indeed.  Sunday.  A day of general laziness, at least for me it was.  In fact, the only things I actually did were to go out for dinner with mom, dad and Kevin, and to get groceries.  Oh, and watch GoT – way to go out with a bang, season 6!!

Anyway, I guess I should add that I also took some pictures.  Of dinner, of course.  We dined at one of mom and dad’s favourite restaurtants, The Rathskeller (German home cooking, well at least from a Canuck perspective).

The Rathskeller is probably closing soon.  The restaurant is up for sale, and they have found no one wanting to take it on so far.  So, it will likely sell and get torn down for a new condo complex.  Just the way some things go here.

If anyone were to take over, they would inherit a restaurant full of weird knick-knacks, for example:

As well as picture-rails full of steins and beer bottles.  Dad has expressed an interest in purchasing the cross-bow (see above).   Yes….I know.

Anyway, last night’s dinner was hearty and delicious as always.

Maybe we will get back there again before they close.  Only time will tell.  In the meantime…
