Sightseeing and Supper
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/voyage/
So, yesterday I took my Aunt out for a drive and stopped at several of the good places in town for the taking of pictures. Cattle Point, Beach Road/Dallas Road stops (including the Chinese Cemetery again), Clover Point, Ogden Point, Fisherman’s Wharf, Beacon Hill Park, Mt. Tolmie…you know… We had a nice time visiting, taking pictures, and eating lunch at Fisherman’s Wharf (and having ice-cream). It was nice to re-connect with her after 35 years!
Unfortunately I forgot my DSLR (my Aunt is a photographer and could have given me my own personal lesson!) But I did take the little P&S and took a few pics of my own along the way.
Then, last evening, mom, dad, Aunt, Kevin and I had a nice dinner out.
Complete with scenary
Appetizers
Yum!
Delicious main courses
And some dessert (I stuck with latte – SO full!!)
and later, Kevin and I went home for some kitty time.
Another nice day!!

I was waiting for the empty plate pic! 🙂
As I explained to my family, where is the fun in only posting a full plate?? 🙂
Right? And pics of full plates of beautiful concoctions smacks of rubbing in that we aren’t eating that too! 😃
🙂
Nice time out, reminds me of my little time at Fisherman’s Wharf!
It’s a fun place to watch people!! And eat, of course 🙂
Sounds like a beautiful day, Emily!! <3 Blessings & have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks – it was!! Have a wonderful weekend too 🙂
Still great shots, and how awesome that you got to reconnect with your aunt! Now you know photography also runs in your genes. 😀
I’m so glad you had a nice visit!
Thanks! It was a wonderful visit. Makes me wish a bit that I had gotten interested in photography long ago…but I certainly enjoy it now!
Better late than never, right? 🙂
