Monday again, but wait…I’m still on holidays!!

A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/summer/

So, yesterday we had mom and dad and my Aunt over for dinner and, of course,I only remembered to take pictures of the cheese.

It was a pleasant evening of (after the cheese) steelhead trout, kale and asparagus, wild rice, and cheesecake for dessert.

And after they left, I headed outside to water the yard and take a few pictures for you 🙂

A surprise visitor (well, not really a surprise since there are still lots of cherries to keep him well fed)

And then, after watching GoT (of course)…bedtime!

  1. That is a raccoon? So cute, we never get anything like that in Switzerland. If you are lucky you might see a fox.

    • They are cute – from a distance. We once had a whole family living in our garage-like structure. Waited a couple of months for them to leave before sealing it all up so they couldn’t get back in. Now they just hang out in the cherry tree and fight the crows for their dinner.

  2. Cheese is my favorite!!! Love the flowers and of course the cute kitty yawn 😊

  3. We had a family of raccoons in a rotted out tree in our backyard last year. But the tree was removed right before hurricane season, so the raccoons had to move. I miss those little guys!

  4. Everything looks so amazing! Even the cheese! 😀
