Disappointed

Today I am disappointed. Disappointed that my trust in something has been lost, possibly forever. Disappointed that being good and loyal doesn’t seem to pay off in the end. Disappointed that sometimes it doesn’t seem to pay to care.
Luckily I still have many things to care about: Kevin, my family, my friends, my work crew (you know who you are) and of course, kitties!

Well, it does remind you that trust is earned, and can’t be expected. I don’t expect people to trust me on day one, guess I need to apply the same to others…sigh…
It’s a hard row to hoe sometimes.
