An opera, a little Jasper, and an Elliot series
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/whisper/
So, yesterday Kevin returned from Banff (he goes back to the job he was doing when I met him, audio engineer, for the Rocky Mountain Music Festival – I think that’s what it’s called – every spring) and I went to the opera with mom. It was A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Britten. Weird opera – well, weird play to begin with. Good music, good singing, way too long. The set design was amazing, as it always is for the operas here (they have limited space, so the design is always inventively minimal):
And now, here’s Jasper:
And a little Elliot
