Boxing Day has arrived
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/unfaithful/
What does Boxing Day mean to us? It means we can do absolutely nothing. It’s after 12:30 and I am still in my PJs, and Kevin is still reading in bed (I only got up because I thought I should feed the kitties).
And now, here are a few images from the day before Boxing Day!
Christmas morning at mom and dad’s
When we got home, this intriguing fellow was on the street having bagged him(or her)self a pigeon… He only stuck around long enough for me to get this one shot.
A lovely gift from mom and dad now hanging proudly in our kitchen where we can enjoy it (and when the sun is actually shining, wow!)
Christmas dinner (and mom’s birthday celebration – yes, her birthday is on Christmas Day!) at our place (with mom and dad and my friend Darca)
After everyone left, I stood on the deck for a bit enjoying the fresh air, some wine, and the full moon. No winter here!
I wish everyone a happy and peaceful Boxing Day!!
