There are no guarantees…
In response to the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/too-big-to-fail/
Tell us about something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail (and tell us why you haven’t tried it yet).
Come on. Nothing is guaranteed not to fail, and I would definitely NOT try something if someone told me it could not fail. As to why I wouldn’t (or haven’t) tried something some random person said couldn’t fail, well it’s because if anyone could make it fail, that would be me. But what is failing anyway, and why is it always bad to “fail”? Didn’t I read somewhere once that it’s all the failures that make us succeed? And something about trying things anyway even though you’re sure they will fail? You know, lessons learned, and all that crap…
Sorry, this is getting way too philosophical for this early in the morning with only 1/2 a cup of coffee in me so far. Let’s have a look at what I saw on my walk yesterday…
Random trees
Random big rocks
Attempted close-up of one of about a dozen eagles flying around amongst the trees (it was pretty cool to watch in person, but really hard to take shots of)
Random horse
This critter – is it an alpaca? I have no idea… He saw me and started walking towards me and really wanted to bite me, well, that was my thought. But he was kind enough to let me take pics instead of taking a chunk out of my hand.
A path to a park I have yet to explore.
