Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #211 – What’s your photographic groove?

Welcome to the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge!  The theme for this week’s Challenge is What’s your photographic groove?.

“What’s your photo groove? What gives you that sense of accomplishment? Of joy? Of completion? Your challenge this week is to show and tell us about what type of photography you enjoy the most. I used my choice of lenses to find my grove. You may have a different way. If you don’t have a favorite, that’s okay. Show us your wonderful images and tell us about them. Who knows, doing this exercise may help you realize your photo groove.”

These give you a sense of what I am going through right now…

Welcome to the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge!  The theme for this week’s Challenge is Spots and Dots.

Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #132: Striped/Checked

Welcome to the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge!  The theme for this week’s Challenge is Striped/Checked!

“After a beautifully emotional week with Patti, I thought we would make this week’s challenge very straight-forward – but hopefully fun as well. We find Striped and Checked everywhere around us, but maybe this is so common a pattern that we don’t notice it if we don’t go looking for it? One thing is clear though – I love these patterns, but remember that my children used to hate them. Today, our whole family often use a mix of striped and checked clothes as well as interior decoration. So, here we are – what about you?”

Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #91: Simplicity

Welcome to the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge!  The theme for this week’s Challenge is Simplicity.

“As the coronavirus pandemic spreads and intensifies, many of us around the world are spending a lot of time at home, following governmental regulations to shelter in place.  More and more of us feel like we’re returning to a simpler time–cooking our own meals, playing board games, reading (and re-reading) the classics, cleaning the house, and taking up hobbies like knitting, sewing, and gardening.  For me, this time also highlights the value of simplicity.  This week, for Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #91, we’re getting back to basics.  Show us what simplicity means to you.“

This is it…

Past holidays, times with family and friends, travel moments, or just something that reminds you  fondly of days gone by – it’s your call. Give us a small peek into the things you’re nostalgic about. Be sure to link to my original post and to use the Lens-Artists Tag.“

Nothing says “nostalgic look back in time” here in Victoria, BC than the “remember that snow of XXXX?”  Here’s a look back at past snowfalls (hint:  one of them is NOT from Victoria!)
